Celeron Hits 8.1GHz In Speed Count

Call the silicon cops! Extreme overclockers at Madshrimps have outdone themselves this time by pushing a 3.2GHz Celeron 352 processor all the way to touch 8.1GHz - the second highest clock speed recorded in the HWBot CPU-Z rankings to date. This was made possible with the assistance of a modified Asus P5B Premium motherboard as well as a generous helping of liquid nitrogen, where the latter was held in a pot that was itself made by liquid nitrogen cooling aficionado K|ngP|n. Without liquid nitrogen, the humble Celeron processor could still touch 5.7GHz using standard air cooling methods. Nice to see every last drop of performance and capability squeezed out by such folks who love pushing boundaries.
