Gmail now starts to flaunt its excellent feature that will definitely fascinate the Indian users of Gmail. Now Gmail supports five Indian Languages, they are Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Using this facility, you can send mails in any of these languages. All Indian Gmail users will have this facility automatically and others can turn on this feature in Language from Settings tab.

The major thing to be noted about this feature, it is not a machine language translation so you have to know the corresponding language. You can use this language as you are using in Orkut. For example, you have to type Namaste in English instead of typing in Hindi, type Namaskaaram to get this word in Malayalam and type Vanakkam in English to get the Tamil fonts.
