Nikon has released its pair of entry-level cameras into its COOLPIX L series with the 10-Megapixel L20 and 8-Megapixel L19. These cameras have been designed as user friendly and sport an Easy Auto Mode that can take the all-virtual guesswork out of finding a specific shooting mode for a particular scene. Both models have come out with a Smart Portrait System setting that can fix most instances of red eye and they have face-priority auto focus that can recognize up to 12 faces in a single shot and a smile mode that will release the shutter when the subject smiles.
The camera lenses of the both models have 3.6x optical zoom and 5 color options that can allow the users to add special effects. You can set the light sensitivity as high as ISO 1,600 for either shooter. These cameras have the resolution of 640 x 480 and have 20MB built in memory. You can have the COOLPIX L20 only in red and COOLPIX L19 is available in bright silver, pink or black. The price of COOLPIX L20 is $130 while COOLPIX L19 costs $110. Both models will hit the market later this month.
